Wildfire Adapted Communities

As wildfire season approaches the Four Corners area, it is important to start considering efforts we can all make to protect our homes and property from wildfires. KSJD's Tom Yoder talks to Rebecca Samulski, the Wildland Fire Education Specialist for the Montezuma County Fire Chiefs' Association and Firewise of Southwest Colorado, about how wildfires impact more than homeowners in the wildland-urban interface, and action communities could take to help minimize these impacts in the event of a wildfire.
