The San Juan National Forest will have a temporary supervisor for the next four months.
Current Supervisor Kara Chadwick is headed to Atlanta to serve as acting deputy regional forester for natural resources for the Forest Service’s Southeastern Region. While she is gone, the deputy forest supervisor for Colorado’s Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison national forests, Russell Bacon, will handle her duties.
