A Utah judge has granted a change of venue in the trial of a Durango couple accused of endangering livestock in San Juan County. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that 7th District Judge Lyle Anderson granted a defense motion to move the trial out of Monticello because of hostility toward the environmental group Great Old Broads. The woman charged in the incident, Rose Chilcoat of Durango, is a former associate director of that group. The trial is now set for May 23 in Price.
