Whether you live in the wildland-urban interface where the threat of wildfire to your home and property are greatest, or you live in a city or town and use public lands for recreation, the danger of wildfire in the Four Corners area affects all of us.

On three consecutive Mondays in June, KSJD and Rebecca Samulski, Wildfire Education Specialist for the Montezuma County Fire Chief's Association, aired Zine interviews dedicated to the ways you can protect your home and property from wildfire, how local fire agencies face the challenges of fires in the wildland-urban interface, and the policies that guide wildfire suppression and prescribed burns on public lands. The audio for each program is posted below, and additional resources are available below the audio links.
