What does it mean to make change in the community? The answer, of course, depends on who you talk to. However, a community leadership class called Family Leadership Training Institute seeks to answer that question itself. Offered through a combination of state and local organizations, including the Pinon Project, the Montelores Early Childhood Council, and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, it helps empower people to make changes at the local level.
