Yoga is known for its health benefits and a way to alleviate the stress of everyday life, and has been shown to be particularly helpful to veterans.

KSJD's Tom Yoder talks with John Chmelir, a military veteran who practices yoga, and Karen Mischke, a professional counselor and certified stress specialist in the Bootstrap Yoga Program, about how yoga is benefiting military veterans and those who suffer from PTSD, and about a Bootstrap Yoga class for veterans that will soon be offered in Cortez.
