Colorado authorities are cracking down on drunk driving for the Thanksgiving holiday. In a release, the Colorado Department of Transportation says law enforcement agencies will create checkpoints and increase patrols between November 17th and November 27th. Last year, over 500 people were arrested in Colorado for drunk driving during the Thanksgiving holiday. Police remind drivers to make sure they are sober before getting behind the wheel, or finding someone to drive for them if they’re not.
