Summer Water Outlook May Be Improving, Dolores Water Conservancy District Says

The long period of warm, dry weather this winter could finally be coming to an end. KSJD's Austin Cope spoke with Mike Preston, General Manager of the Dolores Water Conservancy District, about the most recent snow readings for the San Juan Mountains, as well as the outlook for water in the summer of 2018 and beyond. Austin Cope is a former Morning Edition host for KSJD and now produces work on a freelance basis for the station. He grew up in Cortez and hosted a show on KSJD when he was 10 years old.
