Navajo Nation Economic Director Crystal Deschinny Steps Down

Navajo Nation

The economic director of the Navajo Nation has stepped down due to personal reasons. A releasefrom the tribal government says Crystal Deschinny’s last day at the Navajo Nation Division of Economic Development was Tuesday. She was appointed to her position in 2016, and championed projects like the Ganado Shopping Center and the Shonto Marketplace during her term. A manager in the department will serve as acting director while the president’s office determines Deschinny’s replacement.
