The Mancos School District Re-6 is planning a series of public meetings to talk about a proposed $25 million upgrade for its campus.
The Cortez Journal reports school officials are looking at several possible funding sources, including state grants and a bond issue. The campus reportedly has not had any major improvements since the 1990s. The first meeting is set for Tuesday, April 11th, at 7 p.m. in Room 503 of the school’s west wing. There will be another April 27th and one on May 8th, likewise at 7 p.m. in Room 503.
