The Mancos Public Library will be asking voters in November for a mill-levy increase of up to 2 mills.

Library Executive Director Lee Hallberg told the Montezuma County commissioners Monday the increase would add about $95,000 to the library’s current budget of around $300,000. He said the facility also serves as the library for the Mancos High School and Middle School and had more than 60,000 visitors in the last year.
