Loss of Navajo Code Talkers Teddy Draper, Sr. and George B. Willie, Sr. Leaves 10 Remaining

The Navajo Nation is mourning the loss of two more of its legendary code talkers. Teddy Draper, Senior, passed away last week in Prescott, Arizona, at the age of 96. In a release, the nation said Draper served with the 5th Marine Division during World War II, fought in the battle of Iwo Jima, and was awarded the Purple Heart and Silver Congressional Medal of Honor.  A week earlier, George B. Willie Sr., who served in the 2nd Marine Division, died in Leupp, Arizona. There are reportedly 10 Navajo code talkers remaining.
