San Juan County Sheriff Rick Eldredge and two of his deputies will appear in district court in Monticello this Friday morning at 9am.

The Utah Attorney General’s office has charged the men with criminal misconduct, obstruction of justice, and other charges after a 2014 incident in which the sheriff allegedly pointed an unloaded gun at an employee. The preliminary hearing will decide whether there is enough evidence for the case to move to a full trial.
