Eagles drummer, singer-songwriter and producer Don Henley is back with his first solo album in 15 years. Cass County is a country album featuring an all-star list of collaborators, including Merle Haggard, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton and Mick Jagger.

In announcing the record, Henley is sharing two new cuts from the album, "That Old Flame," featuring Martina McBride, and "Take A Picture Of This." Both songs were co-written by producer Stan Lynch.

Cass County is named for the northeastern Texas county where Henley was born. While country may seem like a departure for the artist known for hits such as "The Boys Of Summer" and "Dirty Laundry," Henley says the album is true to his roots. "I was born and raised in Texas. I'm a Southerner and a Texan," he says in an email. "So this is a natural progression for me. It's who I am and where I come from."

Cass County is due out Sep. 25.
