Dolores County has been awarded $26,300 toward construction of a new 100-yard shooting range.

The award was one of eight recently announced grants from Colorado Parks and Wildlife totaling $600,000. The Shooting and Range Development Program helps fund the development and upgrade of shooting ranges. Local partners must provide matching funds.
