Coming Up at the Sunflower Theatre... Psychological Drama

On Friday, November 10th at 7:30pm at the Sunflower Theatre, local actor James Campuzano will perform a rendition of Edgar Allen Poe’s short story entitled “The Tell-Tale Heart,” and Sunflower Theatre Director Desiree Henderson will perform a rendition of Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s “The Yellow Wallpaper.” To find out more about these stories and to learn what else is going on at the Sunflower Theatre over the next few weeks, KSJD’s Austin Cope spoke with Desiree Henderson on Morning Edition. Austin Cope is a former Morning Edition host for KSJD and now produces work on a freelance basis for the station. He grew up in Cortez and hosted a show on KSJD when he was 10 years old. After graduating from Montezuma-Cortez High School in 2010, he lived in Belgium, Ohio, Spain, northern Wyoming, and Himachal Pradesh, India before returning to the Cortez area. He has a degree in Politics from Oberlin College in Ohio.
