After its residents voted to incorporate on November 7th, the community of Bluff is taking steps to become an official town. Bluff Incorporation Committee Co-Chair Brant Murray told KSJD residents will elect four representatives and a mayor to the new town board in June of 2018.

Before that, community members will hold town meetings and analyze data to develop long-term plans for the town. Murray said the town hopes to start off small, with the motto of “keeping Bluff ‘Bluff.’” And he is confident on their process.

“You know, there’s a bunch of towns in America, so it’s a successful formula for towns,” he said.
