Bernardo de Miera y Pacheco: An 18th Century Renaissance Man

It can be difficult to comprehend how the American Southwest was mapped in the late 18th century, when Spain was still sending expeditions into what was then uncharted territory. KSJD's Tom Yoder talks with author John Kessell about how one Spanish Renaissance man left a legacy of cartography, art, and science during his time exploring the 18th century southwest.
