Donate to the Cornerstone Project
Now more than ever, we need your support to complete Cornerstone.
Only $35,000 more in local support is needed to complete the historic renovation and open the venue in 2014.
To date, the Cornerstone Capital Campaign has raised more than $1.1 million. Of this amount, more than $180,000 came from individuals and businesses in Montezuma County. These local donations, ranging in amounts from $5 to $15,000, made it possible for us to secure the remaining amount in grant funding from foundations who recognize the value of our project and the commitment of our community
KSJD is now broadcasting from the historic Montezuma Valley National Bank building at the corner of Main and Market streets in downtown Cortez, and construction is underway for the performance venue in the building to the east of the studios. We're now raising funds, both locally and in the form of grants, to convert the east building into a 120-seat performance venue, community meeting space, gallery space, and more.
The corner of Main and Market in Cortez is quickly becoming a hub of community activity, a vital downtown anchor that will help our local economy, and a place for people to communicate and connect. We are excited about seeing this project come to fruition and witness the positive impact it will have throughout the Four Corners area.
Donations to Cornerstone of $250 or more are eligible for a Colorado Enterprise Zone tax credit, which entitles donors to a 25% Colorado state income tax credit for cash donations and a 12.5% credit for securities or other non-cash donations. Federal tax deductions apply to donations as well.DONATE ONLINE TODAY below . . . or mail a check to:
